Balanced Pressure Steam Trap

Spirax sarco BPT13A series are compact and reliable pressure-balanced brass steam traps. They are specifically designed for use in small steam systems such as laundry equipment, kitchen boilers, sterilizers, and small heat exchangers.

These traps operate using a liquid-filled stainless steel capsule, which ensures condensate drainage with minimal subcooling relative to the steam saturation temperature. This ensures rapid equipment warm-up and eliminates stagnant zones.

BPT13A is a modification with a union nut and nipple for ease of installation and quick maintenance in confined spaces.

Installed on a horizontal pipeline. Installation on a vertical section with top-down flow is also permitted. For models without a built-in filter (such as the BPT13 and BPT13A), it is recommended to install a separate Spirax Sarco IT or FIG series mesh filter upstream.
