Spirax Sarco CP30 is a conductivity sensor designed to measure the total conductivity (TDS) of water in steam boilers and other vessels. It is used in conjunction with a blowdown controller to monitor boiler water quality and automatically control blowdown, ensuring safe and efficient boiler operation.

The sensor is installed directly into the boiler (via a flange, sensor elbow, or threaded connection) and is available in several lengths that can be cut to size for specific installations.

All water-contacting parts are made of stainless steel and PTFE, ensuring resistance to high temperatures and the aggressive environment of boiler water.

Specifications:

  • Maximum boiler pressure: 32 bar g
  • Maximum operating temperature: 239 °C
  • Nominal pressure: PN40
  • Test pressure: 60 bar g
  • Body and tip material: stainless steel
  • Insulation: PTFE
  • Cable connector: DIN 43650 with Pg11
  • Threaded connection: typically 3/8" BSP
  • Sensor lengths: 300 mm, 500 mm, 1000 mm, 1500 mm
  • Minimum measurable conductivity: approximately 10 µS/cm
  • Maximum cable length to the controller: up to 100 m
