Check Valve

Spirax Sarco DCV41 is a check valve designed to prevent backflow of the fluid passing through it and can be installed on pipelines transporting water, steam, and most industrial liquids. For oils and gases, use the DCV41 with a soft Viton seat, while for water, use an EPDM seat. It is not recommended to install check valves on pipelines with high flow pulsations, such as immediately downstream of a compressor.

Spirax Sarco soft-seated check valves ensure zero leakage and comply with DIN 3230 BN1 and DIN 3230 BO1 standards. Check valve models with a reinforced spring and EPDM seat can be used in boiler feedwater lines. A spring capable of operating at fluid temperatures up to 400°C is available upon request.
