Spirax Sarco SP80 is pilot-operated bimetallic steam trap manufactured from cast steel and intended for high-capacity process applications. Each unit includes an integral strainer to protect the pilot valve and an external adjustment mechanism for setting the condensate discharge temperature. Designed for reliable operation under demanding conditions, the traps are resistant to overheating and use a bimetallic pilot element to control the main valve through a large-diameter piston. They allow in-line maintenance, operate without steam loss, and provide rapid discharge of air, non-condensable gases, and large volumes of cold condensate during start-up.
