Turflow Heat Exchangers

Spirax Sarco VEP Turflow is a stainless steel shell-and-tube heat exchanger using straight corrugated tubes fixed into tube plates at each end of the shell. The corrugated profile generates high turbulence in the tube-side flow, resulting in improved thermal performance and efficiency. To accommodate temperature expansion, the shell is equipped with an integrated bellows expansion joint and includes standard vent and drain connections. The all-stainless, gasket-free construction enhances operational reliability and reduces maintenance risks. Typically, the heated fluid passes through the tubes while the heating medium circulates in the shell, with both parallel-flow and counterflow arrangements available and installation suitable for horizontal or vertical mounting.
