Protection actuators are necessary for the organization of the safety system of production processes and protection of working equipment.

Sensors are designed to monitor hazardous areas and give an alarm to control the operation of the equipment. Safety sensors respond to changes in the state of the equipment and its environment and, when critical values are reached, generate output signals transmitted to the working equipment. The result of the operation can be the inclusion or disconnection of certain types of equipment, switching it to another mode of operation, informing the operator and personnel.

What are Electronic Safety Sensors?

Safety system transducers are sensors that serve to stop the operation of equipment in emergency situations that are dangerous to humans.

Scope of application of keeping detectors

Safety actuators are used in almost all modern industrial enterprises within the pale of different automatic verification schemes:

  • extra malfunction systems for equipment and machines,
  • systems of controlled emergency shutdown of equipment and machines,
  • equipment restart prevention systems,
  • Emergency Start Prevention Systems,
  • safety systems for repair and maintenance of machinery and mechanisms,
  • control systems for movable and removable fences: gates, doors, gate valves, etc.,
  • conveyor safety systems,
  • open hazardous area control systems,
  • configure access to open zones,
  • systems for safe operation of equipment: machines, machines, presses, etc.,
  • electrical protection systems for equipment and personnel,
  • anti-leak and flood protection systems.

As a rule, many production processes require the use of safety sensors in a comprehensive manner to solve several safety tasks at once. In various industries, only certain types of systems based on safety sensors can be used. The most commonly used safety and fire alert systems.

Reliability actuators allotted for:

  • provision the safe flow of work processes,
  • protection of working personnel,
  • safety of working equipment.

The use of such safety sensors allows you to warn in time, and when it occurs, quickly prevent various dangerous situations.

The category of safety sensors involves:

  • Move detectors
  • Smoke
  • Flooding
  • Leaks
  • Broken glass and others.

Depending on the need to detect various objects, inductive, optoelectronic, acoustic, ultrasonic and other sensors can be used. This group also includes translation and multifunctional keeping controllers.
