Baumer photoelectric sensors photoBaumer photoelectric sensors determine the position of object using an optical light signal. They are able to measure movement, presence or absence, speed, etc.

Presented sensors consist of three main elements: a light source, photoelectric sensitive element and transducer (optical system).

The German company manufactures models with thee three source types: standard LED, PinPoint LED and Infrated LED.

The quality of measurement does not depend on the material, color and magnetic fields of the measured objects. Such sensors operate in the range from 0.01 mm to 60 m. Seven different operating principles of measurement are available depending on the model.

The device housing is made of stainless steel or plastic. Equipment with a special design is manufactured for high hygiene requirements of the food and pharmaceutical industries.

Baumer photoelectric sensors use a wide range of unique technologies: IO-Link, Smart-reflect, qTech, qTarget, PosCon, VeriSens etc.
